Thomasine Giesecke studied art at ESADS (Ecole Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg) during that time she became passionate for the glass material. She started doing research into the nature of glass, this led her to build bridges between art and science. She pushed this further into some collaborations with scientific teams. Together they explore how to highlight the intrinsic mystery of Nature, invisible to the naked eye, through sculptures and installations of all sorts.
